A Fashion Post (Awkwardness Abounds)

Hello there!
So, if you've been reading this blog it might be somewhat obvious that I like fashion-y things.
I like fancy dresses, I love dressing up, I enjoy a good shopping trip, etc.
But one of the hardest things for me is finding skirts and dresses that are
l o n g enough.
Don't get me wrong, I love having long legs, but depending on the fashion trends at the moment it is sometimes a tad tricky to find clothes that fit properly and are still decent looking haha.
They are an entirely online store and they sell all sorts of clothes, but I specifically like the way the do dresses and skirts. You can completely customize how long you want the hem length to be, the style of the sleeves, even whether or not it has pockets!
Cool huh?
So when they contacted me about this awesome fairy skirt all I had to do was tell them my height and where I wanted the skirt to hit on me (I specified just below the knee! Midi skirts are my current weakness) and voila! I now have an awesome skirt that fits the way I want it to.

PS- I wore the outfit below to a wedding and got no less than 10 compliments from people on it! 10!

See ya later BYU!!

GRADUATED!
It happened. It's official.  I am done!
This was the most packed weekend of my life, and I loved every minute of it.
From commencement to graduation lunches to convocation to buying a new car (yikes!) to a family wedding dinner then onto the full wedding day, it was nonstop and last night when JP and I finally had a second to take it all in I was exhausted and so happy. Life is so good right now!

Also, I posted my graduation announcement here and I talked about my post-grad plan here in case you missed it :)

 ^^^ Shayla and I!

Brooke's Bachelorette Bash!

Brooke & I ended up being roommates freshman year at BYU in the dorms (totally random pairing too!) It turned out to be the best thing ever, seeing as we became (and have stayed) awesome friends, and here we are 5 years later and I get to throw her a bachelorette party!
So obviously it had to be pretty epic.

I pulled all my best stuff from the parties I've hosted or co-hosted over the years and combined with hilarious guests and perfectly risque advice/gifts, I think it ended up being quite a success.
For the refreshments there were various types of breads and butters, along with a couple salads, coconut cupcakes and lemon bars! It was de-li-cious.

We laughed and chatted for over 2 hours and I had a blast meeting new friends. Such a fun night.

I'm headed to Brooke's wedding down in Arizona in less than a month and I can't wait! Hooray for wedding season!

 The Bride-to-be!

Prizes for one of the games!

Hahaha. I just think these two pictures sum our relationship up perfectly:

A Spring Wedding: Emily + Taysom

JP and I attended the kick-off to the 2014 wedding season last night! Haha, but really.
The newly-weds Emily and Taysom Hill had the funnest reception and were the most stunning couple.
It was out at Sleepy Ridge Golf Course and the weather was perfect (which is always a wild card in Utah in the spring -- there's an equal chance that it rains, snows, or is sunny and warm haha).
